Further information

Departing from Ballycastle on one of our two fast hard boats. Both vessels are large stable hard boats with inside and outside seating, on board toilet and heating.

 

We will take in the lighthouses of Rathlin, the legendary Bruce's cave or the spectacular Bull Point lighthouse and bird sanctuary. Then continuing to travel over to Islay where you can spend the day as you wish.

 

From visiting the island's famed distilleries to playing a round of golf or taking in the sights whilst hiking. Aquaholics will take you up through the island and reefs to arrive right at Ardbeg Distillery. You are welcome to walk the grounds of the distillery.

 

For tours please book directly with any of the distilleries. we do recommend booking if you wish a tour. You can then follow the coastal path to Lagavullin Distillery where you can stop for a dram or two. From there its another 15 minute walk to Laphroaig for more tasting. After leaving Laphroaig its another 15 minute walk back to Port Ellen, where the Aquaholics boat will be waiting to pick you up at 4pm.

 

Aquaholics will depart Ballycastle at 8.00am and depart Port Ellen at 4:00pm, arriving back in Ballycastle around 5.30pm
